This Privacy Policy explains what information iLoveConvert ("we", "us", "our"), the online file conversion service available at www.iloveconvert.com, collects when you use the service, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. By using the service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
iLoveConvert is an online file conversion service. It lets users convert document, image, audio, video, CAD and other file formats directly in the browser, without installing any software. If you have questions about this policy or about your data, contact us at denny.tools.guide@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Files you upload. When you submit a file for conversion, the file is transferred over HTTPS to our processing system, converted automatically, and the result is stored temporarily so you can download it. We do not open, read, or manually review your files. Conversion is performed entirely by automated software.
Account information. If you register or log in (for example with Google or another third-party login), we store your email address, nickname, avatar and a secure login identifier. If you register by email, we also store a securely hashed password. You can browse and use most tools without an account.
Usage information. We record technical information needed to operate the service: pages visited, referring site, the conversion type requested, task status, quota usage, your IP address, browser type and device type. This helps us enforce free-usage limits, prevent abuse, and understand which tools are useful.
Payment information. If you purchase a paid plan, the payment is processed by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive the transaction result (order ID, amount, time and payment status) so we can credit your account.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries to keep you logged in, remember your language preference, distinguish anonymous visitors (a random visitor ID), and measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the core conversion tools will still work.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above only to: (1) perform the file conversion you requested and give you the download link; (2) manage your account, quota and orders; (3) keep the service secure, prevent automated abuse and enforce usage limits; (4) diagnose errors and improve the reliability and performance of our tools; (5) send service-related notices (for example a password reset) when you request them; (6) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your files to train machine-learning models or for advertising.
4. File storage and automatic deletion
Uploaded files and conversion results are kept in temporary cloud storage only as long as needed. Files and their download links are automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours after the conversion finishes. You can also delete a task's files yourself at any time from your account page. Because deletion is automatic and irreversible, please download your results promptly — after deletion we cannot recover your files.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with the service providers that operate the service for us: cloud hosting and object-storage providers (file transfer and temporary storage), payment processors (if you make a purchase), and email delivery providers (transactional messages). These providers process data only on our instructions under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights. We do not share your files with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Data retention
Uploaded files: deleted automatically within 24 hours as described above. Account information: kept while your account is active; you may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing us. Billing records: kept as long as required by accounting rules. Usage logs: kept in aggregate or anonymized form for a limited period for security and statistics.
7. Your rights and choices
You may: use the service without creating an account; delete conversion tasks and their files yourself; request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting denny.tools.guide@gmail.com; and refuse cookies by adjusting your browser settings. We will respond to reasonable requests within 30 days.
8. Security
All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS. Files in temporary storage are not publicly accessible; download links are unguessable and expire. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.
9. Children's privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Use of Google APIs and compliance
Where the service integrates with Google APIs (for example Google sign-in), it uses that access only to provide the sign-in and account features described in this policy, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google API data for advertising, and we do not use any API to generate, process or distribute AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery (AI NCII) or any other harmful content.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
